ZIG ZAG ZOG - Golden Bay Air Update

Golden Bay Air's owner Richard Molloy has sent an update on the progress on their Seneca and another exciting development...

The Seneca is still at Ardmore, undergoing repaint, engine bulk strips, avionics and instrument upgrades. We were hoping to have it online by Easter but now May seems more realistic.

We also have another new arrival, a 1986 Archer, currently also being reassembled by Aero Technology at Ardmore. We imported it from Washington State. Apart applying its new registration marks (ZK-ZOG) we are not doing any upgrade work on it, so it should be on our Part 135 by Easter. I’ve attached a pic of it prior to its ferry flight to Oakland.

I will certainly be looking for the Seneca before it heads south! And QW - remember you heard it here first!

Soon to be ZK-ZOG before setting out for the journey down under

  1. Thanks for the update. It seems there is quite alot of things happening for Golden Bay Air at the moment. 2 new aircraft coming online must be a good thing for a small operator like Golden Bay air
